• Abstract:

  Construction of the Skokie (Illinois) Outdoor Exposure Test Plot is described. Concrete slabs-on-grade, slabs elevated above the ground, and concrete boxes were case in order to study the effects of weathering upon different concretes. Variables currently being investigated include curing, cements, pozzolans, aggregates, chemical admixtures, deicers, and concrete surface treatment. Future reports will evaluate test results.
