Thirty-two articles, letters or ads about clay block. Clay block is made from a mixture of expanded clay mixed with clay as binder, cast into a block, and fired in a kiln like brick or tile. The feature that was attractive to aggregate producers was that no type of portland cement was required. The block can even be glazed. The expanded clay was produced by sintering or a vertical free fall furnace. There is much history and personal insight presented. See additional sheet for titles or subjects.
