  Reported herein are the results of a test to determine the fire resistance of a non-load-bearing wall, 8 in. thick made of Rocklite concrete blocks.The two-cell concrete blocks used in the construction of the wall panel were 15 5/8 in. long by 7 5/8 in. wide by 7 5/8 in. high. The side wall thickness tapered from 1 1/2 to 1 11/16 in., the end walls tapered from 1 5/16 to 1 1/2 in., and the interior web wall tapered from 3 1/16 to 3 3/8 in. in the depth of the block. Each block weighed 30.1 lb. when used.
