• Abstract:

  Since Bulletin No. 85 was produced in 1972, various amendments and additions have been suggested. These have originated in particular as a result of the meeting of the CEB Commission in Leningrad in May 1972; meetings of the Manual Drafting Committee in Aachen, London and Krakow; and from a Symposium on Lightweight Concrete held in Krakow in May 1973.Chapter 6, Design Considerations, has been extensively redrafted by its authors and a new version of Chapter 6 is included in this Bulletin.
  Chapter 9, Steam Curec Aerated Concrete, will be excluded from the final draft and will form the subject of a separate manual.
  Bulletin 95 has been produced by the Building Research Establishment of the Department of the Environment, Watford, England.
