| As I prepare to move into retirement, I was invited to provide an article looking back on my experiences with lightweight concrete as my final contribution to the Engineer’s Corner. In the article, I discuss my initial experiences with lightweight concrete for bridges, some of the relatively recent developments in design, some of the advantages of lightweight concrete, and then look at the cost of lightweight concrete. |
