  • Abstract:

It should be the aim of each modern building concept to eliminate the contradiction between economical restrictions and the quality of the design. Public and private building contractors are demanding nowadays more than efficiency and economy. Commercial buildings radiate once again self-confidence, individuality and a sense of social responsibility. Architects have always been ready to seek interesting architectural and urban design solutions to commercial and industrial building structures, but were frequently hindered to realize these plans by all too strict specifications. The advantages of the technique employed and the particular physical properties of the Hebel material are evident also in the Design facade. The cost-effective erection method speeds up the construction work process; highly-effective thermal insulation results in noticeable energy saving; heat storage and diffusion behavior ensure a healthy indoor climate. In addition, there is the stability in value for solid construction parts; high sound insulation, good sound absorption, and the fact that the material is fireproof. In German and English.
