  Based on a survey of some of the many unsolved problems of concrete-to-steel bond behavior, suggesttions are given for possible research on several subjects–mode of failure, joint details, reinforcement deformations, bond fatigue in reinforced concrete, bond of nonprestressed reinforcement in lightweight concrete, bond in prestressed concrete, bond of wire and fabric, and splices.
