  • Abstract:

The concrete production in a precast concrete factory is described. Having regard to the technological requirements, particularly in relation to the handling strength of the precast units, measures had to be taken to ensure optimized concrete production with the available initial materials. By means of comprehensive comparative concrete investigations, it was shown that with the two-phase mixing method, certain advantages are gained in making dense-textured lightweight concrete. Another advantage is the “gentle” mixing action, as applied to coarse aggregate consisting of low-strength particles, resulting in a very homogeneous concrete. In English, French, German.
